The buds have a completely flat and balanced sound signature out of the box. I prefer to boost the treble and lower the mids gently. After a bit of tweaking around I was able to get the desired sound signature pretty easily. At a price of 1500, these buds are not a bad choice if you listen to classical music genres.Now coming to bass, these buds are not for bass heads. Don't get me wrong it has smooth bass and can also pump out decent bass to shake your ear canal if you boost it but if you primarily listen to very bass heavy music like trap, hip hop or EDM, just buy Oneplus buds that has 12mm drivers and bass boosted sound out of the box.
